In Flanders reusable cups at all events have been gradually introduced and became mandatory since January 2020. Two years later, governmental events applied similar rules for catering. 

Join us on Thursday 18 July at 11h CET to learn about successful events that have implemented reusable cups and tableware systems in four categories:

• Large open urban event with different parties like HORECA, organisers and local authority working together;

• Small urban event with different parties;

• Closed-door event, such as a music festival with only one supplier managing food and beverages

• Sports event with multiple points of supply for hikers and runners

You will also hear about ongoing debates between event organisers and public authorities, do's and dont's, and policies to come.
