Dies ist die Arbeitsgruppe Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung des Mehrwegverbandes Deutschland e.V. , die sich monatlich für ca. 1 Stunde digital trifft um sich zu neuesten Entwicklungen rund um die Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung von Mehrwegsystemen austauscht. Folgend dem ursprünglichen Ziel "ein transparentes Modell zu erarbeiten, welches Umweltauswirkungen von Mehrweg-Systemen messbar, optimierbar und vergleichbar macht." tauschen wir uns zu neuen Studien, LCAs und Berichten aus, um unser Fachwissen auszubauen, zu vertiefen und zu teilen. Uns ist bewusst, dass wir im Verband durch die vielen Systeme und Experten entlang der Mehrweg- Wertschöpfungskette einen reichen Beitrag an Fachwissen zur Betrachtungsweise der Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung von Mehrwegsystemen leisten können, haben zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ohne weitere externe Unterstützung jedoch noch nicht die Ressourcen beisammen um besagtes Model eigenständig zu entwickeln. Wir sind in der Zwischenzeit jedoch offen für die Zusammenarbeit mit weiteren Verbänden, Umweltorganisationen, und Forschungseinrichtungen, um weiter an einer einheitlichen Bewertung mitzuwirken.
